MY STORY

While my education is western medicine, Registered OB/GN Nurse, my love is alternative health care.  This started back when both my grandmothers suffered through illness that could not be answered by their MDs, on so many pills we could choke an elephant and never any betterment of life for either of them.  At my young age, I didn't understand the why of their aches and pains, weight gain, deformities, mental state of mind, etc.  All I knew, was health didn't come easy for them and I hoped and prayed it didn't come that way for me.  After being a nurse in the medical field, my mother came down with an "idiopathic" illness and to this day still suffers from the onset of it and NO reasoning for "why" it happened. This is when I realized that there has got to be a better way.  Since furthering my education into alternative, integrative health care I have learned much about the gut-brain connection, how and when - what you eat - is either food or poison and how factors outside of what goes in your mouth effects the whole body.  All though I am not a license therapist, I do employ techniques and methods from my alternative health care education that I share with my clients in regard to physical, emotional and therapeutic ways of proper elimination, hydration, nutrition, physical activity, and an overall umbrella of preventative health care.

2001 - 2005 I worked as an RN in the OB/GYN department at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, CA. My first phase of health and wellness was in western medicine.  I wanted to be an OB nurse because of the care I received as a patient. So I did just that and went back to school.  At that point in my life I was a paralegal at a local Law Firm.  So as you can see, starting over from Law & Business to Health Care, it didn't happen over night.  Raising small children brought my nursing career to an end, though it tugged on my heart strings, I knew I was needed at home to raise my babies.

2015 I was called back to health and wellness; this time at the alternative wellness level.

2016 I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.  My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with clients like you to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness. Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationship as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

2017 Institute of Colon Hygiene.  Studied with Cindy Paiva, certified gravity colon hygienist.  This training resurrected my anatomy and physiology from my college education pre-nursing. The hands-on, clinical training, and practicum was put to the test daily providing for a thorough education and clinical experience of colon hygiene.  The colon, also known as your large intestine, is roughly five feet long! Cleansing the bowels promotes a healthy environment for your beneficial flora to communicate properly with your immune system and prevent noxious substances from penetrating the blood stream. This allows the blood stream to deliver proper nourishment to your cells as the body is better able to discern good from bad. Clearing fecal obstruction via colon hygiene also allows your lymphatic system to efficiently eliminate cellular toxins from the body via the colon. This, in turn, results in a healthier metabolism (cellular turnover), which not only means healthy weight management, but also clear skin, increased energy, and a more youthful appearance!  Looking forward to providing this service for my clients and giving them yet another alternative to healthy living. Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor (not even a little bit) or a prostitute, just a glorified plumber. Men are always welcome, just no perverts. Please consult with your doctor before and read the FAQ's page and Contraindication page here on this website. Thank You!
